Hello all.

There is a little backstory to my problem:
I've recently installed a CIA game and it was crashing on launch. I thought it may be corrupted or something so I went to the settings to uninstall it, but the settings app crashed. I tried going to FBI > Titles but that was crashing too.
Later, I followed these steps https://gbatemp.net/threads/an-exception-occurred-arm9-data-abort.520223/#post-9294895
That "fixed" my problem and I was able to uninstall the faulty game and play the games without any problem.

Later that day, I turned on my 3DS and noticed that some games had a black icon. That did not scare me that much until I saw that the Homebrew app is also black.
I went to the forums again and followed these steps by TurdPooCharger https://gbatemp.net/threads/an-exception-occurred-arm9-data-abort.520223/post-8323495
Unfortunately, the problem is still there.

Anything I can do to fix this?

I have Luma3DS v10.2.1 if that's of any help.

I've fixed it thanks to Mr. Burguers from the 'Nintendo Homebrew' server on Discord.

Here are the steps:
1. Make save file backups using checkpoint of what you can or want.
2. Make copies of anything that isn't in the Nintendo 3DS folder and that you want to keep.
3. Format the SD to FAT32
4. Follow this guide https://3ds.hacks.guide/restoring-updating-cfw as well as the next page to reinstall homebrew apps. reinstall your games. restore save backups if you made any

NOTE: Some of the games that turned into black icons I couldn't get a save file backup :/ That's the only loss here

Good luck reader :)
