Guys,

Thanks to loads of excellent guides on these forums i've managed to get homebrew on a few Wii's now ....

However i recently came across a Wii with a serial of LEH2082 (PAL) ... Has anyone stuck homebrew on one these machines, is it possible? .. and have you tried any backup loaders, cIOS's etc...

Cheers,

Provided you use the right methods you should be able to softmod any Wii.

Update it to 4.1, run Bannerbomb with the hackmii installer, use that to install the HBC and bootmii (most likely just as an IOS), run the Trucha Bug Restorer to downgrade IOS15, run it again using IOS15 to install an IOS36 with the Trucha Bug and ES_Identify, then run it again on IOS36 and restore IOS15, then run the cIOS rev14 installer and have that use IOS36 and do a network install (if you have wifi, otherwise get the wad it needs and do a wad installation).

Then you can use whatever backup loader you want. Use NeoGamma R6 or R7 for disc based loader or any USB Loader you like aesthetically for usb loading.

This method should be safe on any Wii, even boot2v4 type Wii's so there shouldn't be any problems with just doing these steps. And both the trucha bug restorer and the cios installer have offline methods to install them by getting the IOS wad's necessary beforehand if you don't have wifi. Check out the simplistic mod guide to see how to get the IOS wad's you need from the NUS Downloader if you need to do an offline install.
