The setup:

haxchi install
hbc autoboot
loadiine g2x and g2x ymod
I am attempting to use a gamecube controller on mario kart 8 through hidtovpad, however when launching loadiine in smashbros mode with the update 64, I get either a black screen or an exemption dsi error. I have verified thay the nightly build I'm using has settings for hidtovpad and they are on. I have also removed the controllers folder that seems to cause crashes.
Is there a compatability issue or fix I can apply?
As an additional request, smash bros through smash bros mode gives a black screen, I'd like to fix that so I can try out the dlc.
Any help I can recieve is most appreciated.
