Hacking Hiding Disc Channel

Hi All,

Just wondering if it is possible to hide or remove the disc channel. Since I don't have a drive there is really no need for me to have it there. Currently I have it on the last page of the SM, but it just bugs me a little knowing it's there, haha.

I haven't had the chance to look at AnyTitleDeleter yet, but would the solution be there?

No, there's no way to remove it, other than moving it on another page. It's not a real channel like a vc game but more like the settings button.

However, you can move it. Install priiloader and enable the hack "move disc channel".

I know that this is unrelated to your post, but i was wondering if you have had any problems running official Nintendo channels like Wii Shop Channel or any wiiware.

I am trying to determine if people that have non-working dvd drives have problems loading official Nintendo channels or if there is another factor.

I'm not sure if it works but you can try this in Sneek first and see what happens.

Hexedit iplsave.bin and change the line at 0x10:

01 01 00 00 00 00 00 0f 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

into:

00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
