Steam is currently experiencing heavy load so several errors are popping up intermittently.
My wallet is safe for now, there isn't anything interesting yet.
Just saw a massive Sonic the Hedgehog collection for $15 that has a crap load of games. Too bad I can't get it without the games I already own. The servers are under very heavy load, which is to be expected
Already bought Hearthfire and CS:GO. Good that my wallet is prepared.
What are your sale wishlists guys? Mine would go like this:
-Far Cry 3
-DmC Devil May Cry (who came up with this title?)
-Quake III Arena (don't judge plz)
Don't grab Far Cry 3. Ubisoft occasionally puts a sale for the whole FarCry collections for $30
I care only for Far Cry 3. And it's -25%, I am waiting for at least -50%.
That Sonic collection does look extremely nice. 15$ for a ton of games including Sonic Generations and Sega All Stars Racing. I'll probably get it if it gets a bit cheaper.
Anyone have some handy links/spreadsheets about this sale? Or tips and all, I remember having those in the previous sale.
The problem is I have two of those games already (Adventure DX and Generations). What happens if I buy the collection?
How the hell am I supposed to buy something if the servers are overloaded?
You won't get the extra copies unless it specifically states otherwise.
Makes sense to me! Steam's servers are so bad right now, combined with the fact my connection sucks balls is gonna make getting games so much more enjoyable
Edit: The hell? Can't find it on Steam anymore. What was it called?
Yeah, it took me about 20 mins to pay for what i had in my cart.
I got Fallout 3, Skyrim: Legendary Edition and Portal 2.
Waiting to see if those steam summer getaway trading cards sell and then I'll probably buy GTA: San Andreas.
The trading cards seem to be bugged or something atm, for many people their cards won't appear on the market.
isthereanydeal.com can show you all the deals on steam right now. (Over 2500 titles)
It just takes a little while for them to appear, they just sold for me, so I bought GTA: San Andreas.
The price has evened out now though. No more idiots buying them for 5$ each
There is apparently a plugin for Firefox and Chrome that will show you the sell price history of a game (I can't remember the name of the plugin at the moment).
So far I picked up the Half-Life series and Scribblenauts Unlimited. See what comes up next.
I'm still recovering from the Green Man Gaming sale last week
I sold mine for $1 each because I don't really care.
