Gaming Hide X folders from recently viewed documents?

I wanna hide my prawn folders from the "recently viewed documents" thing because. Well who wants people to find their prawns?

I searched all over and cannot find how to do this...

I still use it to find files I had just downloaded though! So I don't wanna get rid of it.

set the porn as a system folder and make sure you can't view system folders while your not aroused (hiding). then set system folders as viewable when your ready

Can't you just go start > right click my recent documents > clear list? I can do it on Vista, unsure if this is possible in XP.

That's not doing it for me as I always keep "show hidden files/folders" turned on.

... that's why you set them to SYSTEM folders. you need to enable viewing of system folders, which is different than hidden folders.

you could always stop looking at NAUGHTY/NASTY SITES and get a real life with a girlfriend/boyfriend/other!

or use something like WEBWASHER to clear your tracks at the end of a day or as above disable the recently viewed files list or use the clear viewed files list from the right click start menu/properties

Back on topic I disable such things by default on all machines I am responsible for but still:

Better choice, grab a copy of something like puppy linux or some other liveCD type distro, read only NTFS drivers have been around for ages and getting one with a browser, a picture viewer and multimedia is easy enough to do. I use such things all the time when I need to leave as little trace as possible.

Halfway house: eschew explorer and the standard windows stuff in favour of the alternatives. It is far easier for me to do the former (I have a burner PC as it were) so I am not sure how well it will work and the specifics of the task.

going also with FAST's thoughts here .. use a USB INSTALL of OPERA and take it with you everywhere and use USB drive encryption!
