the third icon from the left ("Special BBCode") will have a bunch of different BBCodes you can use; spoiler's included in the drop down list.

I was Eastern Provicne as well in Dammam although I'm originally from Pakistan (and currently living in England). In all my years there, I only learned a few words of Arabic

You also have to enable notifications in your control panel, have you done that?
