They had to make her "Older." I mean, now she's applying to colleges (as stated in the episode) so its a been a year or two since the end of Volume 3. Also, see how people "react" when they see each other. It feels like its been quite a while.

So, now, i believe that Claire (as the character) is *gasp* legal!
