EDIT3: So I just turned it off, wii still works fine.
I went with the offline installation method on this guide. And with every install that I did when it started to download the parts(15 of them for each one) on the first it said the hash was BAD(all caps like that). From what I know a bad hash is well... bad. Though since iv never done anything like this before is this normal?
