Hacking Hermes cIOS offline install

I tried to install 36 merged 38 ios, found ios36 but it didn't find ios 38, tried to search from internet. what version of 38 shold i use? I have both IOS38-64-v3609.wad and IOS38-64-v3610.wad in sd root.

I think the Hermes cIOS installer didn't use your WAD files, it use the files in sd:0000001\ and possible some WAD's like IOS202.wad.
That should be in the ios202-222-223_offline-installer.zip. Extract all files to the root of your sd card and start the installer.

Select the cIOS u like to install, than select the IOS and you are ready.

Example:
Install cIOS 222 with IOS36
Install cIOS 223 with IOS37 merged with IOS36

That work also for uloader and that's all.

I already installed ios36 as 222 because couldn't install 36merged38 as 222. i think 36merge38 suites best for me. Copied all on the rar to sd. No luck.

Ok, i think IOS38 is not in your zip.

You can extract the files from the WAD(use IOS38-64-v3610.wad) you have an put it in the 00000001 folder, otherwise you can download it with NUSD.

With NUSD you must rename the folder with the IOS to 00000026\v3610 and put it in sd:0001.

The result should be sd: \ 0000001 \ 0000026 \ v3610 \ 000000a and some other files, the cert, ...

Sorry if the path in my posting is broken, now i try it with spaces and i hope you understand what i mean.

Btw, if you take a look in 00000001 i'm sure you understand where the Hermes cIOS installer look for the main IOS.
