Hacking Hermes 222/223 question

I have a question regarding Hermes 222/223 IOS. In reviewing previous threads, I have noticed discussions about cIOS 222 as 37 merge 36 (rev3) and cIOS 222 as 38 merge 37 (rev4).

I recently update my Wii using xzxero’s 4.2 guide and it contained Hermes cIOS 222/223 rev 4. This is the first time I have ever had cIOS 222 on my Wii, so should I be all set to play GH and Rockband? Is rev4 just an updated version of the 37 merge 36?

    Depends on use for some reason but I avoid any SD card that doesn't have a 2 year warranty

    I'd assume cards that run 24/7 with constant write transfers would fail quicker

    I've had good luck with Team group SD cards cheap and comes with 5 years but void if it's ran 24/7
