It's hackable. It's just that the values are stored in random integers. I wasn't able to find the gold offset before.

That's the second time I've seen weird stuff like that. And only the first on this system. The other one was a Pinball Game (Pinball Arcade or Zen Pinball, I don't recall) on the PC. The ball count used something like 20 for 1 ball, 47 for 2 balls and 112 for 3 balls. It took hours to figure out. Every other table used 1-3, 0-2, 2-0 or 3-1.

You should create a cheat file for it, sent it to @Rinnegatamante to add to his app, that way everyone can benefit. He's told me he should be releasing it soon.

rinCheat SE Editor 1.2

Fixed: removed Byte Order Mark (BOM) from the beginning of written files. (Well done Microsoft for outputting some weird shit). This caused all the files to fail to load on rinCheat SE.

Edit: If you've created any files with this, load them and save them out again and it will automatically fix the files.

There's one or two more things I want to add to the program, and hopefully that should be it.

any cheats or offset for trails of cold steel 2
it doesn't seem to work with rin or save edit with cheat engine at all
Someone already posted a cheat engine sheet of the game in previous pages. Cheats should work for that game, it has no checksum.

I've had no luck either. Been trying to edit my Mira.

Edit:
Found an interesting save edit to trigger a clear data save file on load with GoHan. Lol.

How to:
Search for your Mira value as Byte 2 (data address should be 8158)and then modify it to 200000 as Byte 4 and then exit out the app. When you load your save, it will trigger the window with the options to select what you'd like to transfer, like if it was a cleared data save. Pretty neat, but otherwise useless. You have no points to transfer anything. :P

Might work with other options as well, haven't tried searching for anything else, as editing Mira is a pain already, when the value doesn't match up to its modified value after 60000.

Anything regarding Rage Burst saves?
lol read my explanation for God Eater save hacking

http://gbatemp.net/threads/this-is-how-to-cheat-freedom-wars-savegame.442672/#post-6703182

my direct quote related to God Eater save hacking:

short answer:
No.

long answer:
The God Eater games encrypt their saves using a custom encryption (underneath vita's save encryption) so first off you'd have to decrypt the save completely (both vita's encryption and the custom encryption). they use a unique encryption so knowing how to decrypt vita saves in general isn't enough.
Then they have at least 1 MD5 protecting their save, which is a more secure hash than CRC32. so you also have that to deal with.
Then you'd have to re-encrypt the save back using the custom encryption.

side notes:
the long answer describes the "proper" way to modify God Eater saves. If you know assembly there is another option, which is to skip encrypting/decrypting the save and not check the MD5 sum(s) when loading. however, doing that would make original saves not work on the modified version (and vice-versa).
I'm personally not interested in cheating in the God Eater series. I love playing the game.

also:
Interestingly God Eater avatar cards are NOT encrypted (ie not beyond normal vita encryption) however they're protected with an MD5 as well.
If you want to check those out you can find them along with SECURE.BIN if you've been online and traded avatar cards. the names are CXX.bin where XX is 00~99 (in order of who you traded avatar cards with).

2 bytes = 0-65535 , weird , and seems like different save has different address for mira
i got all sepith max = 99999 , not 999999999 like trails 1 anymore

For everyone trying to edit Trails of Cold Steel 2:

This game, or at least the PS3 version, is challenging to edit. I was editing the Japanese version when it came out a while back, and the cybersaveeditor people quickly came to the conclusion that there are no fixed values for anything----mira, sepith, stats, etc. The offsets change every chapter, every save, every incident---anything sets off a change per save. It was so bad to the extent that the cybersave community page did not have any fixed codes for this game---all they had were methods by which to find the offsets at any given time.

While I have not got the US version yet, glancing at the gamegenie forums (PS3 save editor), the situation seems to be the same. People are having trouble finding fixed offsets, and there is some super level encryption going on with the saves. As such, it is likely that the same goes for the Vita version as well. It is most likely that offsets provided by other people will be no use, and every save will have different offsets for different things which will require a new search/edit for every save.

TL:DR:
This game is a pain to edit.

I figured that was the case. Guess I'll just have to do the good old cooking trick this time around if I want more than 60,000 mira. :P
Don't really care about cheating anything else.

Was there any codes for bonding points offset for Trails of Cold Steel 2 ? regardless if the offsets change though. Just want to confirm it was found before.

Danganronpa: Ultimate Despair Girls
Monocoins (Cash): Change the following offsets, the values must be the same.
0x00000134
0x00031840
You must also go into the sce_sys folder and change the string values representing money to the amount you now have.
IE.
Monocoins 90 Coins.Play Time 0...07...50.Komaru LV 1
to
Monocoins 999999 Coins.Play Time 0...07...50.Komaru LV 1

*Editing the cash works but be prepared to face a headache when editing the sdslot.dat. I still have yet to be able to load my game cash values over 99. If someone has a save that's got a thousand or more monocoins, please upload the sdslot.dat so that I can see how the two differ.

In what folder is the sdslot.dat? I have a save with 1166 coins right now

Edit: Here are the files if it useful for something

Here are some offsets I found. (all 4 bytes, unless specified)
Remember to always make some form of backup (decrypted or encrypted)

Monster Monpiece (EU):
//Found in SystemData_0000.sav
"Money"
1: 0x01A724

"Rub P"
1: 0x01A728

For this Monster Monpiece, these values also work on US PCSE00373 version.
To put Money and Rub P points at value 99999999, change the values on those locations to: FFE0F505
The game uses the values in integer (32-bit).

I also tested it with Atelier Sophie with no luck, I'm going to try widen the memory range, it would be nice if someone could translate the plugin... :D
