Hacking Henkaku Save Editing Thread

i have 2 saves, one with 7,791000 gold and the other is 6,791000 gold.

i want to get around 700,000000 gold if possible.

Edit ---

here are the Save files.

save0000 is the 7791000
Save0001 is the 6791000

really strange, i just can't find those values in the saves you posted. assuming you made no mistakes, i can't help... sorry
i'm not sure how the game works, i have never played it, maybe there are two 'banks' or something, and the number you see is the total combined?
(for example, total money from your inventory + total money from your storage box)
if not, i have no idea

As far as i know there is only one "bank"... strange. ill dig about a bit and see what i can find.

If it was another game (lets say Rainbow Moon) and i want to edit the Levels of the main character.

Do i just simply search his level number as a text string? or do i need to look up the Hex value of the level?

you search for the hex value (999 times out of 1000) :)

ok i have managed to change Baldren Level from 007 to 100 :)

i assume this will work for other characters aswell :)

I used the trial version of FlexHex for this as you can do side by side comparisons of the save files to see what has changed.

cool! keep in mind that games work in different ways, maybe changing the level is not enough, your character may still be weak etc.
maybe the stats are edible in the save too, maybe they are dynamic and based on the level of the character. (phantasy star nova)

some games when you change the stats, they get reset to the 'proper' values the next time you level up (atelier)

Ill probably find out about if the levels reset when i next level up, ill let you know what happens.

In regards to the stats, you have rainbow pearls which you use to bump ip the stat and the more you can bump them up depends on your level.

Gonna test it now and see if all works as it should.

Ok so it did indeed change my level and avaliable moves i can take but i cant raise my stats... I assjme that the next time i level up i will be able to but i need to get 25k exp and so far i only have 1k so this could take some time.

Is the same process to edit game saves the same a psp memory editing work cwcheat or tempAR? If yes I was decent on some stuff. Never got told how to search for floating values though.
 
hi guys i am new to this community.i am also a beginner on hacking so if someone can help me or teach how to do a save editing that would be much appreciated i only tried to save edit FFXHD i want to learn how to do it on other games many thank to hom will help me :D

Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment [PCSH00070]
I was able to pull out the save file from the savedata0: (PROBABLY NOT A SAVEFILE?)

by creating another file name PCSH00070
inside ux0:/patch/
There should be a file name PCSH00070 inside /patch before you even create the new PCSH00070 file,just put the old PCSH00070 into the new PCSH00070.

and then I just do the usual where you transfer MLCL00001 files(sce_sys,eboot.bin,version.txt) into the new(PCSH00070).
After that,I transfer the param.sfo from gro0:/app/PCSH00070/sce_sys
into the sce_sys(under new PCSH00070)

After that,close molecularShell inside your vita
and then enter your SAO hollow fragment,the vita shell application should appear.
after that start FTP connection,and you'll see a file name 000

As you can see,inside of the 000 file,there are another two file named MAIN and SUB
both of them have the same files inside of it which consist of GAME00.BIN and SYSTEM.BIN



After that,I use hex workshop and change some of the value inside GAME00.BIN(BOTH MAIN AND SUB) that were similar with some of my stats in SAO:HF.After that I save the changes into my 000 folder,and then return all the things that I have made inside ux0:/patch into the original states.
However,once you enter SAO:HF,the save file will be corrupted .:mellow:

Anyone have the solution for this?
 
sorry i didn't read the whole thing @Ranek - but if you are certain you are doing everything correctly (it works for other games etc) - maybe this game has a checksum you need to fix
