The new Vitamin is out.

Theoretically, the plugin module should allow us a great variety of cheats.
I was actually thinking the same. Posted a thread at that one " place" about speculation of plugins like cwcheat, tempAR(loved its UI better than cwcheat since I could see it xD), nightPR. I think this is now a lot better possibility.

Yep. Yifan hinted at this a few days ago. I'm so glad that it's come to fruition.
Gonna take a peak at the src code myself and tinker with a few things. It should be possible to have to simply switch a few bytes here and there.

If only we knew who the creators of choose respected plugins were :3 we could ask them to help make it. Or make a team like freek for making a tempar like plugin.

I've been searching for any hint of a source code for CWCheat, only managed to find some documentation. It's a shame that most of these guys are probably out of the scene, but I guess that leaves their spots free to be assumed by new devs. :P

Has anyone successfully gotten a Vitamin backup to run vita/molecular shell through the patch folder? I'm trying to edit Shiren The Wanderer but to no avail. Entering ux0:app/PCSE00845 into the webbrowser returns "Could not find the application." The game runs normally when molec/vitashell is in the patch folder.

I tested one of my physical and legit digital games, they're still able to be decrypted. So the problem is definitely Vitamin-dump specific.

*Vitamin can't dump DLC yet can it? Perhaps this is why. It's not considered a "game" in the same vein as a legit game.

hi sabishinbo are you referring about the save data file of the game ? if so you can find it at /ux0:/user/00/savedata/PCSE00845

yeah vitamin is weird, not perfect at all.
it's a shame since all these games should be redumped later when something better comes out or vitamin is improved.

yes someone had trouble with vitamin and patches, you can copy shell to the main app instead.

I thought Vitamin decrypted the game and that's why we can install it using henkaku? Why would we need to use the patch folder?

Shouldn't we now just be able to grab the save file that isn't encrypted??

Short question, as I am to stupid to find an "easy" answer. How exactly do I pull savegame files from my vita?
Or where do I find them?
Do I have to dump my complete game to get an decrypted file ??

Sorry if this has been answered before!

i'm not sure if the vitamin dumped games have no encryption even on the save files.
maybe they always are decrypted. and yes if so, just get them easily from ux0:/user/00/savadata (something like that)

Yep, they saves are encrypted (The ones in ux0:user/00/savedata). Can't be dumped through previous methods. I guess we've just got to wait for Vitamin 1.22 to be released. It may or may not fix things.

i tried a number of things including renaming the App Files name and creating a new Directory as molecular shell so when i click on the bubble it loads up Molecular shell instead of the game... i also aded in the save files in the the savedata0 area....

crashed out my vita and had to remove the game and the hack and reinstall it all again to get it working.... so i dont recommend that (unless i replaced files i shouldn't of)

i found a way to decrypt the save file ftp:
1. go to ux0:/app/vitashell download the EBOOT.bin
2. go to ux0:/app/gameid download the EBOOT.bin of the game
3. change the EBOOt.bin of the game you want to edit to vitashells EBOOT.bin
4. close VS boot up the game it should boot the vitashell
5. connect to your ftp again
4. go to savedata0: you will see your save data file it should be decrypted
5. do the editing up to you. after that
6. replace your save data file with the edited one
7. go back to ux0:/app/gameid upload back the original game EBOOT.bin

AMAZING!

i just tested this and it worked :)

i was in the ball park area with my test :p didnt think to just swap out the eboot files though.

Thanks!

i keep both eboots in the game folder, renaming eboot.bino (for original) when i want to launch molecular and eboot.binm (molecular shell) for when i want to go back to the original game.

Wow, so it's like applying game updates for vitamin in that matter? As some games require the eboot of the update to replace the vanilla update.
In any case, thanks for the amazing find buddy.

Does anyone have a Blazblue continumm SHift II extend save editor for either full unlock gallery or max money and exp level 100 or something? That is such a Tedious work load to unlock everything. O_O
