I bought a presoldered V4C Wii-Clip and D2Pro9 V3 from modchipcentral.
I have a D2C chipset.
I checked if the Wii-Clip or if the D2Pro9 was fake. They are both real.
I put on the protect label on the back of my D2Pro9 and covered my Wii-Clip with the cardboard piece.
I made sure I clipped it on (heard the "click" clearly).
When I turn on my Wii (still open) I can see the D2Pro9 red light turn on, so i confirmed it was working.

However, when I put in a disc, it didn't read it.

What did I miss?

Everything that came with it:
1 - presoldered wii-clip V4C with D2Pro9 V3
1 - thin red wire

Everything has been left untouched. I did not solder anything extra yet.

I have no idea what it means to "short" the "CLK", but it seems that the "CLK" point has the silver solder stuff on it.
The guide tells me to "short" it. That already seems done. But, since it didn't work, i have to "remove the CLK jumper and solder a wire from the "J" point on the motherboard to the D2Pro9 point."

How do I remove it?...Am I even on the right track...?

On a Side Note: The D2Pro has a bright Red LED Light. It is solid and does not change or blink.

ANY help would be dearly appreciated! Thanks!

I had to take mine off and on like 4 or 5 times and then it worked fine. I used a piece of electrical tape to secure it once It was working fine.
I heard the click each time, so just because you hear it doesn't mean it's on proper. You also might want to check the pins on the bottom of it to make sure each one is straight and slightly sticking out of it's grove.

Just take it off carefully so as not to damage the pins.

Does the LED just stay red?

I have taken it off carefully using the instructions from the Wii-Clip website and put it back into its packaging.
I have checked the pins, confirming they are fine. After taking out the Clip, the Wii still reads normal discs perfectly.

And yes. When the clip is in, it has a solid red LED.

OK!
I seem to get it now.

Just one last question!!!

http://www.wii-clip.com/ >>>go to Wii-Clip V4C for D2Pro9 V3.

On the picture, it says "remove the CLK jumper if it doesnt work for you."

mine was pre-shorted...

So...what do they mean "remove" it?

desolder the CLK jumper? drill at it? im confused
