Hacking Help with Wii u hacking?

Hi, so as the title implies I'd like some help with Wii U hacking and some advice, here are my questions:

What are the risks of Wii U hacking, and how do I avoid them?
What kind of things does Wii U homebrew/CFW allow me to do?
And lastly, I know I know, piracy is bad and all that but, with pirated games, can I play them online without getting banned, I want to play a pirated copy of splatoon with a friend online but I'm worried I'll get banned.

(Please don't get too technical, though some is ok because I've hacked Wiis and my 3ds.)

no risks really aside from cbhc. that's cfw at boot. if you reformat the system without uninstall it first = brick.
you can do most things like running backups.
you won't get banned unless you mod or cheat.

CBHC. The CBHC installer has an uninstall option

You dont NEED cbhc. You can use haxchi. Cbhc is just cold boot haxchi for people who cant be bothered to click haxchi when system has booted and wait 5 seconds.

You wont get banned online unless you attempt to mod (cheat) online. If you just play the game normally, no issues.
