ok i'm trying to install the iso249 on a wii with v4.1. I have try the network way when it uses the wi fi to dowload the pacth but it downloads ever file and then when it finish downloading it all it says at the end that it faild but i don't under stand because it download it all. Because this happen i tryed to do it manally by down loading all 17 files and putting on my sd card and the same thing happens it uploads them all and then says fail. please help me.

First off, if you live in the USA, how did you get firmware v4.1? I thought it's only out in Japan.
Second, try removing any Gamecube accessories such as controllers and memory cards from the Wii when running the update.
See if that works.
