I am trying to play Final Fantasy: My life as a king, but i don't want to upgrade my wii from 3.2 to 3.3. Is there anyway I can play w/o upgrading?

Pretty sure the first update would be fine. I bought my Wii in December and it had 3.3U on it[never bothered to see which version though], and I can play FF:MLAAK just fine on 3.2.

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
