I just bought a 3ds recently and I immediately updated it to v2.1 . I tried the updating technique where you wait 3 minutes for the v2.0 and deleting dstwoupdateb.dat but it didn't work. I tried using my original silver ds to update it but when I put the dstwoupdate.dat it says wait 3 minutes and my screen turns white and when I wait 3 minutes and try using it on my 3ds, it doesn't work. Any ideas please?!

just download firmware 1.12

put it in root of memory card
use your original DS
if it the update don't automatically start when you boot up your DS/dstwo, than go to it and start it

What do you mean "go to it an and start it" . When I boot my original DS up, the game slot says 'update error Enter, and then wait 3 minutes' however when I do that and wait 3 minutes, it doesn't do anything and when I exit and delete the file and boot it in my 3ds it doesn't work.
