Hacking Help with the New Firmware

Hello Everybody,

I was in a trip and i'm coming back now. I've missed a lot of stuff, the new firmware, the nem IOS, etc.

I would like to know, if i update or not my modded wii ? If no, there is any reason to install this new "custom firmware" ?

What's the benefits of updating ?

If you've modded your Wii, Trucha signed games will be useless unless you use GeckoOS.

It will also delete any versions of the Twilight Hack BEFORE beta 1.

Well, I rate the mii things and I rarely play wii online, therefore i'll maintain with this Firmware!!

Anyone explain if it is good to install the custom fw ?

At this moment there is not a lot you can yet with that custom ios. It lets you dump discs to sd and there is an emulator that lets you read roms from dvd, but that's about it. For now, that is. I expect much cooler stuff to come.
