Hardware help with switch dock

long long time reader 1st time posting I usually found my answer on the form but I have one question that I cannot find answer to

I have the Nintendo switch 4.1 for about six months and I use it around the house I have the Nintendo dock in my room and I was using the Nyko dock and other Nintendo dock in the 2 living room now that I've updated to 5.1
I want to get a new dock in case something goes wrong with the Nyko dock so I want to know if anyone has tried the new docs that are compatible with 5.1 ?
I've seen mixed reviews on the insignia dock some say it works on 5.1 with official Nintendo AC adapter some Say it doesn't ? I found 1 that said it's compatible with 5.0 has anyone tried sorry can't add link google

To be 100% safe I would sacrifice or buy a new official Switch Dock and transplant it's internals into this: https://www.amazon.com/BASSTOP-Portable-Nintendo-Replacement-original/dp/B071YVC3NJ/. That was you are still using the Nintendo Dock's hardware, but in a portable dock. I am planning on doing this myself.

edit: sorry this is for charging, not a dock for TV pass through sorry. The above poster has the best idea... i use that my self.

No way anyone should pay $20 for that Nintendo Charging Stand, you can get a much nicer fully adjustable metal stand for way less and just plug in your power source at the bottom.

It's already available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/BASSTOP-Portable-Nintendo-Replacement-original/dp/B071YVC3NJ/... with no questions or answers, zero reviews, not not a single mention of supporting 5.x consoles without bricking. I would stay away from this, especially at $50.

It is made by YesOJO, the same people who made the Nintendo Switch exclusive Projector (there are some Youtube videos reviewing it).
I´m not saying that this alone makes them trustworthy enough for buying the dongle, but since it´s not their first product for the switch I would consider buying it after some positive reviews are available for it.

I was just thinking if I have to pay for another Dock and because mario party is coming out I need joy con get another switch at least this way I have a back up.
