Good morning/evening/night, people of this hell bent community. I really need some help with the issue I'll be discussing because I've been 2 entire hours trying to set this up and I just can't do this anymore. (I am not native english, please ask nicely if you don't understand anything said)
This morning, I've bought a DSlite (im not able to tell you which model it properly is, don't have an eye for these things) and I've recieved a R4 flashcart with it, which I'm assuming is a clone as I've read online. (see the embedded files)
So far, I've only managed to get it going up until the Loading... screen, where it then promptly completely freezes.
I've tried everything, from downloading the firmware from different websites, to using the wayback machine to download the website's ACTUAL files (since the website is currently dangerous to visit and scummy all-around), and the problem persists. I've even tried to create a folder for Roms, put Mario Kart DS in it, and tried to boot it like that, but it still always came up with the Loading screen of doom.
I'd also like to point out that I don't currently have the means to buy another flashcart, since just this one purchase netted me €50 less rich which is disastrous for a high-school student.
If someone is able to atleast point to me where to get help for this, I would greatly appreciate it.
