Hacking Help with R4 card

So the R4 card I bought showed up today and I have been trying to get it to work but havent had success, I have watched a few youtube videos on setting it up and I think I am following it step by step but when I insert my r4 card into my 3ds I keep getting an error screen and can not even get the menu to show up let alone get a game to work. If anyone can point out the problem im having and how to get it to work it would be greatly appreciated.

I have attached pictures with my r4 card, my micro sd card, what my files look like on my sd card, and the error screen I keep getting on launch of the r4 card.

Are you sure you're using the correct firmware files for your R4 card? get the files from the website marked in your card.
Also, FYI that card has a timebomb

I believe I am I to the site on my card and downloded the kernel for my card again to make sure but I am still getting the ?menu error. Also is there anyway around a timebomb or to fix it or am i screwed and should just buy a different one?

Use the YSMenu kernel (R4i-SDHC family of carts) to bypass the time bomb. You may also want to copy everything off your flashcart's micro SD card, reformat it in FAT32 + 32 KB cluster size, and full Write + Verify test the empty card in H2testw for hardware problems.
