Gaming Help with psp softmodding

the sticky guide sya you have to be on 5.03 I'm on 6.31 can i softmod it or not?psp phat
and the guide says i have to put the ttif file in psp/photo but when I open the psp folder it doesn't say photo?

You have to be on 5.03.

If you're on something higher you need to use the pandora method sticky. You WILL need a pandora battery. Either hardmod your own into a pandora (not recommended) or buy one for a few bucks online.

What's with all these threads these days?
If you have a 6.31 PSP then you will need a Pandora Battery, no questions. A pandora battery will only work on a 1000 (oldest model) or early-2000 model (motherboard dependent, only way to test is to buy one and see if it works)
Follow THIS guide for how to hack your PSP. You will need to buy a Pandora battery/cannibalise one of your own batteries in a hardmod and an official memory stick between 64MB and 4GB with MagicGate protection to install the software.
