Hacking help with problem after installing a9lh

i got to this step

You can now use Luma3DS Updater to update your Luma3DS to the latest version just by opening it and pressing (A). (This is not the same thing as a System Update; it just downloads and extracts the newest Luma3DS files)

and when i try to update it, it just hangs there and errors out until system reboots. need to load up luma to get my games back....everything else in the tutorial seemed to go fine

found out my internet settings was messed up. but how do i get the games i had in emunand back? read i could

It's not necessary but optional.
If it doesn't work, update Luma manually or don't update if it works fine.
