Can you take a screenshot of the folder on your SD Card with the BIOSes on them? Perhaps you're missing something, so It'd be handy if I could double check it.Yea Im using MelonDS. The files seem to be named correctly, I had to rename them, and in the right place. But when I launch MelonDS it says it cant find the 3 files and my Switch freezes.
I dont really like RetroArch at all but I guess I will have to use it....how well does it play Symphony of the Night?
I got melonds working after getting a different copy of the bios. Sadly the games i wanted to play (castlevania) are too slow even fully overclocked. Can you take a screenshot of the folder on your SD Card with the BIOSes on them? As for SotN, I haven't personally played it on the PCSXReAMRed core yet. But from what I've heard, it runs pretty good.
For Castlevania, did you enable Threaded Video in the RetroArch settings? That usually speeds up PS1 and N64 emulation quite a bit.I got melonds working after getting a different copy of the bios. Sadly the games i wanted to play (castlevania) are too slow even fully overclocked.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, at this point in time melonDS can't run many games at fullspeed. They did say that they are planing on porting over a hardware renderer quite soon, so that should fix the speed problem for pretty much every game.I was referring to the NDS Castlevania games in that post. Using melonds all 3 of them are too slow.
As for SOTN I only have the PSP version and it must not be compatible with RetroArch.....or at least I cant get it to load.
