Hacking help with mod

i have a wii im modding installed neogamma r9 and when i try to load a game i get > drive too new for dvd-rs have nintendo made a hack proof drive ?the wii is 4.3 e brand new out of box black one
any info appriciated

newer wii's cannot play backup discs, but they can still play backups of your games off of a USB Hard Drive. For assistance on setting this up, check out ModMii from the stickies (or from my signature)
