Homebrew Help with Kirby's Return to Dreamland

I was trying all day to get this going. I've fixed some things but I can't get past the part when you select Main Mode. I can get past the part where you press 2 to continue, theres no white screen there. But, when I start Main Mode, the screen goes to black and just hangs, no music, wii remotes stay in sync but I can't open the home menu, i have to force shutdown. I am using firmware 4.2 and I start the game with IOS248 (the only one that does not freeze at white screen) I already installed d2x and im using cfg usb loader. My homebrew channel says im on IOS58 v24.32. This next part might sound silly but im playing off of a sd card. My hard drive died and a usb drive I found does not work right. I tested 2 other games on the sd card and they worked fine (Mario Party 9 and NSMBWii). Again, the game freezes at a black screen after I select Main Mode. I also tried 2 different wbfs downloads.
