To OP (If real): You have to have a hardmod to downgrade your 3ds, so if you don't have the materials, you HAVE to pay.

its almost like noobs don't bother to do a simple google search before making a thread. You have to downgrade if you want free games without having to buy a sky3ds. Only way you can do that is with a hard mod to dump your nand and inject a older native firm file.

Correct, but most people don't know you can downgrade via hardmod. Most don't even know what a hardmod is, case in point, few post up where he's told his only option is sky3ds.
