I am using the new Xploit for Xbox 360 Slim E.

I've tried several games in GOD that are throwing a Dirty Disk error:
Gears of War 3, Gears of War Judgment, Fable Anniversary, Forza Horizon 1 and 2, and Rage.
I use AURORA to run games from USB, and I've also tried from an internal HDD. Same error.

These same games, in extracted format and patching the Default.xex with XexMenuv1.2 or the PC application, work in Aurora.
But when patching the Default.xex of an extracted game, can no longer apply a "Title Update" to that game?
For example, Rage requires Update 4 for the DLC.
But as I said, no Title Update can be applied to any of them because they throw an error on startup.

Any solution?

Commenting here for visibility.

Also facing the same issue for certain games on my RGH 3 Xbox 360 Slim. In my case, patching the Default.xex on GTA IV did allow it to boot up. However, it boots back to the stock dashboard before the first mission starts. No solution so far.

Finally, what I did was use those problematic games in GOD in XEX format.
Some games in GOD have problems.
The same games in XEX work perfectly.

Did you have to patch the default.xex file before they work? I tried it for my copy of GTA IV, it loads but then throws an error after the first cutscene.

I never patch the Default.xex files.
What hack are you using and how do you load the games?

No hacks loaded as far as I know (DashLaunch plugins are empty). Loaded the games through Aurora and XexMenu, both threw up an error saying the game needs to be downloaded again. The games affected are: GTA IV, GTA EFLC and Dante's Inferno. Others work fine.

I think you misunderstood me about the hack.
Do you use RGH or BadUpdate?
If you're using BadUpdate along with FreeMyXe beta 5, you'll need to upgrade from FreeMyXe beta 5 to XeUnshackle v1.02.
If you're using RGH, then that's the problem with the games. You'll need to find another ISO and extract it or convert it to GOD.

Ah ok. I'm using RGH. I've tested a redump ISO ripped using isoextract, ripping it directly from disc to Xex format, and ripping it directly from disc to Games on Demand format in the case of GTA IV. All having issues with booting into the game. I've also tried transferring the game using FileZilla (Binary mode) as well as USB transfer.
Not sure if I need to enable certain plugins or create a dummy Xbox Live account.

Thanks for your help. It actually works now! Not sure why but booting from the USB directly works fine, even with title updates. If I copied the files to my HDD and boot from there the games (Dante's Inferno and GTA IV) will not start like before. Do you happen to know why this is the case?

P.S. Mainly for my own reference in future, but some games seem to require you to choose a profile before you can boot it successfully. So in Aurora for profile settings, choose "Select at boot" to allow you to choose a profile at boot.
