So I'm using the code that was posted here earlier that allows the use of the classic controller. I'm using V2 as shown below (pasted from the website linked at the bottom):

The trouble I am having is that I would like to use the classic controller's left analong stick to move, not the control pad. The reason is that using this code, movement is slightly slower using the control pad. Is there an easy way to switch from control pad to control stick by modifying the above code? Is it even feasible?

Also I have no coding experience on the wii.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No I don't know that it matters depending on NTSC and PAL.

What I did was use Gecko OS and just put a codes file directly into the USB drive's root folder, so it's sd:\codes, not the other one.

I don't know how cfg loader works so I can't help you there, but I used the LetterBomb method to get Wii Homebrew installed, and then I just got hold of Gecko OS and used that to load the game. It'll say codes detected in the code file, and it applies them then runs the game. Works like a charm.

I got the code working on cfg loader by using ntsc version of the game. DK is fun now that I don't have to use the nun chuck.

use... nunchuck? Isnt DKCR supposed to be horizontal wiimote? I think it is... I havnt played it in ages though lol.

No this hack is for playing it with the classic controller. It's just that the classic controller has both joysticks and directional buttons. The Joysticks allow for faster movement than the directional buttons do, so I was just wondering if anyone knew what hex values to change in order to use the joystick.

If anyone can modify the above code or knows what needs to be done to allow for Joystick support, that would be greatly appreciated.

:)

I just found about this hack, this is freaking awesome!and the grab button isnt also for faster movement?

Sorry to dig this back up. I can't seem to get this to work. I've tried everything I can think of. Any tips or help?

Nevermind another user helped me to get it working.

Hello, sorry for digging this old topic up, but I am also looking for the modification of the above code to use the analog stick for movement and not the dpad. Can somebody tell me the line which needs to be changed? Thank you in advance.
