Hacking Question Help with dongle, red light on PC, no instructions given?

Hi everyone,
I bought this as an atmosphere injector

If I put it in my PC, it just has a red light. It came with no instructions and I can't find anything online. Can anyone help?

What are you trying to do, replace the payload?
If yes, you're not alone: [1] [2] [3]
(I don't have this dongle, but I'm interested in whether someone successfully replaces the payload)

The best lead for now seems to be @mattytrog's instructions posted in some of those threads
