Gaming Help with cIOS

Hi, I’m a huge noob to this Wii hacking scene. I’m trying to load cfg usb loader, and it says to install cios 249. I go to d2x cios installer, attempt to install it as such:

Select cIOS <v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52>
Select cIOS base <56>
Select cIOS slot <249>
Select cIOS revision <65535>

I then press A twice, it says Getting tmd.5662 fiel, and then i get this a few times:

net_gethostbyname -125

If I try again, I get this:

net_gethostbyname -6

The console is connected to the internet, and I haven’t screwed around with any (c)IOSes before. Much help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hello.

It seems you maybe have unfortunately some "Internet/Connection" Issues on the Wii.
Maybe try it 2-3 Times,in some Cases it needs "a few" Attempts,depending on the Type of Internet Access.

Please also be sure you do not have placed an External HDD on the Top of your Wii,it maybe affects your Internet Connection too.
Yes,I know,it sounds funny,but the WiFi Module inside the Wii (also in the Wii U) is placed very "disadvantageous".Personal I had experienced this "Issue"..

If you still do not be able to sucessful download/install it with this Method,you can use @XFlak ´s ModMii to get the needed cIOS and you can install it then with an WAD Manager Application like WiiMod Lite or Multi Mod Manager.

I downloaded the needed cIOS wad and it successfully installed! Now I can load cfg. Thanks so much!!
