Hacking help with acekard2i

so i recieved my acekard this morning and i seem to be having some promblems with it.
i ordered this thing with an 8gb micro sd card, but the acekard came on its own,
when i tried using my own sd card from my phone... i got this message :system file is missing.

i was just wondering, the website states it comes with 1.4.1 firmware upgrade, i would like to know if the firmware files are saved to the acekard or the micro sd.
obviously if its the sd card, id either need to wait for that to arrive, or update my own card with the files wich im not sure is possible since i dont have a firmware writer.
please help!

The firmware is installed on the AK2i I believe.

What people often call the "firmware" is actually the OS, AKAIO. You need the OS installed on the SD in order to run.

The actual "firmware" is more along the lines of updating the bootloader for 1.4.1.
