No, that flashcard only runs DS software, no 3DS software.
As it is (with your FW being 3.0) you can't do anything without upgrading.
Perhaps you could pull something off by using the web browser exploit in a low FW, but I don't think so. There is no written procedure or guide for this anyway.

cfw only works 4.1-4.5

Do you know any stores near you that let you rent games? Or maybe a nice employee at a game store that will let you update with a cartridge they have?

Use that website linked above to search for a game that has 4.1-9.2 installed on it

Install the update then use gateway downgrader to downgrade your 3ds to 4.5.

I recommend using a 4.1-4.5 cartridge (like luigis mansion dark moon) so you can skip the downgrade step

Buying a new linker would be the better thing to do.
You can install the CFW anyway, without using another linker. And then you install games in the SD memory of the 3DS as CIA. This way you almost don't use the linker at all.
But as I said, the CFW is unstable and several game do not work on it.
I would recommend buying either a Sky3DS or a Gateway3DS (my preference, it will let you do several hacky things with your 3DS). With either of those you should get 100% game compatibility (or so).

Sorry, I cannot find a compatibility list of sorts.
Anything that requires FW over 4.5 may not work. And that may include Zelda a Link Between worlds and newer games.
SSB4 should not work.
Mario 3D Land and Zelda Ocarina Of Time should work.
Anyway, take my words with a grain of salt as I have not used the CFW.

You can use either DevMenu or BigBlueMenu to install CIA versions of games.

I don't think the Gateway menu will even appear, but try it if you wish and let us know what happens.
PS: It has some risk of bricking involved, take that in mind. If you can access the menu the first thing to do is a NAND backup.

the leaked cfw is really buggy, not worth it at all
what you need to do is rent a game with a firmware update of 4.1-9.2
after that, you can get into hacking
there isn't much free stuff, so i'd just buy a gateway if i were you
