Hacking help upgrading R4i-SDHC on 2DS

Hi,

I have an R4i-SDHC, it says current model NDSL, NDSI 1.45, 3DS 7.2

It also says to enable upgrade feature again please restore "R4iMenu/flash.r4i" file

The DS itself is on Ver. 11.0.0-33E

I'm trying to get the wireless search working, it's never worked from the console, I always get WIFI connecting fail! Please configure WIFI setting! When I looked into this it most people were saying it would only work with no security on the WIFI something I couldn't test because my router won't let me setup an SSID with no security. Hoping a firmware upgrade might get this feature working properly?

I take it it's best to upgrade the R4 before upgrading the DS?

Everything is fine w/ you cart, dont worry.
You cant connect to wifi in ds games because of WFC servers shutted down on 2014

ah OK - thanks for that github link, I'll take a look, is that why the game search from the R4 card doesn't work though? Not sure what that would have to do with the WFC servers - maybe I've missed something?

so you wouldn't upgrade at all just stay on NDSL, NDSI 1.45, 3DS 7.2 & DS Ver. 11.0.0-33E
