Homebrew [Help] TWiLight Menu++ Black Screen Upon Launch After Theme Download

Hello!

I’ve been using TWiLight Menu++ for awhile but today I wanted to try the themes that I could download off of the updater. Huge mistake. I downloaded a couple of themes (various, for the R4, Acekard, etc) and I was testing them out to see which one was nice to my eyes. I only got through a few before one of the themes, I think a R4 one, resulted in my TWiLight Menu++ loading up a black screen after the little animation of Robz8.

What should I do? Should I reinstall TWiLight Menu++? I am using the newest release of TWiLight Menu++, using an old 3DS XL with Luma, I believe.

There's something wrong with the themes.
Try saving the .bmp files as 16-bit ones.

I've been having a similar issue. I was downloading themes using the TWiLightmenu ++ Updater when my 3DS crashed. Now when I launch the updater, my 3DS crashes upon launching. Then, I started TWiLight and applied a theme I had on before the Updater, a Mario Acekard theme. Now it cuts to a black screen everytime i start TWiLight

I have similar issues too.
When I downloaded the themes from the TWLMenu++ updater program, these R4 and Acekard themes will not work for me. The R4 themes will result in a crash and can sometimes flicker red and black until exit and the Acekard themes will result in "Guru Meditation ERROR" even when I have changed the settings.
Thankfully TWLMenu++ does allow the settings to launch before loading the themes by holding SELECT during bootup.
