Hello everyone .. I have a question for you .. many thanks in advance ..
I would like to create a cheat for a ds game.
For example, look at this cheat for yu gi oh reverse of Arcadia:

D2000000 00000000

This reduces the enemy's LP to 0 .. Let me know how to do it .. what sense does that code ..

This thread? is always helpful...I tried it myself (on a homebrew game xD), although I gave up after finding out that I was just making it say "You Win" without actually recording that I won.

Ok .. I have now learned how to make basic cheat .. but there are some things that I did not clear .. for example, there is a trick on yu gi oh with which you can save anywhere .. I used the emucheat for the first cheat but I have no idea how to do now ..

i strongly agree on no.2

the simple thing is..
go read the code types and understand them before you even ask these questions
thats the basic of all things
just like before we type we learn the language/ABC

the same goes for code
go learn the code type before you ask such questions
how or what does the code mean

NO and writting a code im assembly form doesn't mean it can't be done via AR
after all... thats where the root is........
without knowing the root it won't lead you to any assembly codes

Why ASM? What's so bad about AR codes anyway? You guys really should stop making conclusion that quickly. Try first before you say, ASM is the answer.

Who knows, you might be able to do it with AR anyway instead of going to the ASM route.

Also, why the hell does everyone seems to be attempting to fly before they can even walk? Start from the basic, mastered them then we talk those things.

For starters, you could try using better grammar, cause I had to re-read your post three times before it made sense to me. They aren't telling you to learn the tricks, I don't even know how tricks are relevant to basics(they're two different things) they're saying learn the basics. You'd find more help in the cheat forum since they have a few guides to help you.
