Hacking [Help] rxtools mode question

Can someone help me with this
In RXtool mode, I accidentally updated my old 3ds from 4.2 to the newest 9.8 firmware. I though that will update the emuNAND to play games such as Pokemon X/Y. After finishing update, I can't access CFW anymore. Just at that time, I remembered that I didn't check for the green box for emunand when I loaded rxtools ( it would be likely red ). So now, the firmware of my sysnand is 9.8.0.25U

Is there a way to reverse this or downgrade my firmware using my emunand , I acknowledged that my emunand is still there. Im so confused and pissed right now, please help me . Thank a lot

Both emunand and sysnand binaries, that got from emunand tool could be decrypted using the same xorpad generated by the console.
So i think indeed emunand is only a mirror for sysnand, not much things changed.
Now please use emunand tool to extract it out to file ASAP, and keep your file.
You could find those hard-mod and how to rebuild NAND image or so. Ask others about the modification needed to be done with these images before flash it back.
BTW, why not just update it in system setting (mset)? I really don't know why there are guys using eshop to update - when they exited the emunand from mset.
Next time just modify your icons or layout or themes to remind you that it is in emunand or not.

Yes, I updated it in mset setting via rxtool mode (I checked the sys firmware before doing it, it shown "rx-4.2.0eu ).
I do have emunand backed up in my computer. Problem is I don't know how to flash it back. Can u help me, thanks in advance

There is how-to-hard-mod tutorials on gbatemp. Also, if you are afraid of your bricking it, you could find someone would make do it for you (with fee maybe).
However I still don't know how to convert emunand dump to console hard-mod dump. So sorry could not help much.
If this could not be solved here, create a thread telling others that you want to flash emunand back to console.
