Hacking Help recovering Wii

OK, so this is what happened. My SD card got screwed somehow and I couldn't add stuff. I tried backing up the SD card but the files got erased. I decided to format the wii system memory (i'm on 4.0). after it shut down, I powered it back on and preloader popped up. i went to the system menu and it said the files were corrupted. Any help?

why'd you format the wii??sigh you got preloader so go to hbc and try installing new system menu

Or try checking/changing the system menu IOS in Preloader
