Hacking help, quick question

I want to install a9lh in my n3ds but i´m not sure if is safe as how is my n3ds right now i have 9.0 sysnand with downgreded options for the installed mset, i dont even use it anymore because i have installed menuhax and coldboot but never unistalled the mset , so the question is can i just do the a9lh process as i am right now or do i need to unistall the mset first? if so what is the quickest and safest method?

you should use sysupdater and a 9.2 updater pack to manually update to 9.2.
then proceed to do a system format
IIRC that deletes the MSET.
Then carry on with the guide(plailect's guide to a9lh+luma3ds)

just to clarify if i doing it right

as mentioned i have menuhax with coldboot to gateway (dont have any cfw right now) so :

boot to SysNAND Gateway Mode.
install sysupdater 0.4.2.cia with my bb.3ds
Create an updates folder on the root sd card, copy all the cias files from the update pack in it
restart console launch on sysnand and use sysupdate and install cia pack

missing something or is it a go?

You can go to a9lh with sysnand 9.0 without upgrading first to 9.2,i've done myself some weeks agoo and all was fine

9.0-9.2 is practically the same, updating will only give you higher chances of bricking.

Updating in sysNAND Gateway mode will guarantee a brick.
