I was in the middle of playing a ps1 game on my HEN PS3 when it suddenly powered completely off. I tried to power it back on but it went from standby(red light) to on(green light) then right back off.
this is the first time I've experienced this problem and have had no signs of issues prior to this.
I looked around a bit but haven't found much about this issue other than 3 possible problems.
1. PSU failure
2. wifi/bluetooth chip fault/failure
3. HDD dault/failure
I tried to power it on without an HDD in it and with another HDD but the results were the same, standby--on--off.
is there a way to determine what the exact problem is and if it's fixable(preferably $20 0r less or even free)?
is there any special tools I need to disassemble the ps3 to do some voltage checks?
