Hi.
I've an Old 3ds (11.4 firm) currently with arm9 and Luma 7.1.
My problem is: When I try to install Boots9Trap... I can't get access to SafeB9SInstaller.
I turn on the console keeping pressed start button and all that, but nothing.

any idea? (sorry for my bad english)

Did you rename the bin to "start_SafeB9SInstaller.bin" like it says in the guide?

It's not the same. If you are sure you have 7.1 and not 7.0.5 you must follow the one I linked. Others will not work. You cannot boot bin payloads with B9S so you won't get far.

okay. I'll try that then. give me a minute

hmm... nothing...
I suppose I've to clean all the boot9s files from sd and start all over again.

Take the SafeB9Sinstaller.firm and rename it to "boot.firm" then place it on the root of your SD card. After you upgrade to B9S, go to the Luma Github and download version 8.1.1 and put that boot.firm on the root of your SD card to replace the renamed SafeB9SInstaller.

I'm following another tutorial but is pretty much the same.
sorry for delaying reply, but I was reading the tutorial
Please don't tell me you were watching a video tutorial. If you were, I heavily suggest not using video tutorials as they tend to become dated very quickly.

Perhaps you gave us incorrect information. If you're migrating from A9LH to B9S, then you couldn't have had Luma 7.1 (as this was the first B9S-only release) and you would have had to follow https://3ds.guide/a9lh-to-b9s. If you had Luma 7.1 then you already had B9S and you had to follow the guide QuantumKitty linked you to.

I tryed to change to B9S before, I update the luma first, but when I tried to enter to SafeB9SInstaller I couldn't do it.
My error was follow a video tutorial
