ok so i bought a r4 3ds upgrade gold pro 2018 r4 card. i can not find a kernel for it that can read .3ds files but the .nds files work perfectly fine. i have tried and i cant seem to find out what i need to add for it to read them. its a sdhc card. can someone please help me.

It can't read .3ds files. If you want to play 3ds "backups" you need to install cfw following https://3ds.hacks.guide
