Hacking Help on cfw info

I just got a psp 3000 and it is on firmware 6.60. I know that both 6.60 and 6.61 are hackable and have multiple recommended cfw for them. However as the psp seen is dwindling there isnt a lot of info available on the optimal choices. Should I stay on 6.60 or is 6.61 superior? Which cfw is the most noob friendly for someone who knows nothing about psp and just wants to play backups? Also what is infinity? I read it allows permanent cfw? Thanks

Follow instructions to use infinity then install the pro cfw with the 6.61

OK thanks. I read somewhere that many plug-ins arent updated for 6.61 so I was afraid of updating. Should I use pro or me?

I prefer pro, the plugins are okay to use since i use them sometimes.
