So I have been racking my brain over what this could be..

Basically I have a N3DS and a N3DSXL, recently on my XL version I just did some stuff to get homebrew on it etc etc. Anyways it has Lumas 9 on it, and also put the NTR boot loader on it as well.
Loaded up the system, enabled debugging on the lumas. Boot into NTRSelector or w/e it's called, chose NTR 3.6.
Check enable debugging in NTR, it's on.

Open kit-kiat-slim, type in my 3ds's IP. Hit connect, Screen flickers does it's shtick then it says connected on kit kat.
NTR window opens up to a white screen. That's it. Nada else.

Windows 10 Home
Anti virus is Only Windows Defender. Which has every feature disabled except Real-Time protection (Which I added the folder NTR is in as a exception)
Windows firewall is completely off. (I even added NTR Viewer + Kitkat as exceptions anyways.)
Then on top of all of this I even added my 3DS to the DMZ zone of my router, which means that it is not protected by it at all... no firewall... no port blocking blah blah blah.

Same GOD DAMN MOTHERF****KING thing.

What makes this worse, is last night when I first setup everything at like 2 am. I tested out NTR and kitkat, and it worked fine. Booted up the game no problem, streamed, everything.
Now today this is what I come back to, just the white screen.

So at this point I'm looking for any help, or any solutions.

Pictures of things/settings on my pc, idk if you guys will notice anything that I don't.

I'm legit, idk what else to do.. like are there special ports I should forward beyond DMZ?
I mean it's not like the connection is the issue though it seems it communicates just fine with the 3ds... idk what to do here. Anyone have any ideas?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.

I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Slightly slower loading but a bit more convenient
