Hacking [HELP!] Nintendo 2DS Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - RXTools

Has anyone been able to successfully install and play Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on the nintendo 2ds? I'm running firmware 6.0.0 USA and RxTools v 2.6 using FBI to install MH4.CIA.

The game installs just fine but when I go to run the game it loads the initial 3ds sceen by nintendo and then the screen flashes, goes black and that's it. I've waited 20 minutes to see if it would load but no luck and I've tried multiple cia files for mhu4 that I've found online.

Every other game I've installed this way works just fine. The only game I can't get to work is MH4U.

I converted a .3dz xenoblade game to cia and it installed fine. After running it, the game gets stuck at the nintendo 3ds start screen. Ya you're right nintendo has confirmed that xenoblade is exclusive to the new 3ds. Sucks for those of us who only have 2ds or old 3ds.

Xenoblade was N3DS only, MH4U is playable on 3ds and (Im not sure) on 2ds. But If the original gamecard of MH4U works on 2ds then the cia has to work to

Well you need emunand. It's firmware 8+ only

sysNAND doesnt have to be higher then 8.0 but emuNAND has to be right?

have you installed the monster hunter 4 ultimate v1.1 patch for it? if not install it right away (it's a .cia) and see if it works

Never thought of a patch. I didnt need to install a patch when I got the game

You got the retail cart of it? The v1.1 "patch" is an update/dlc from eshop that gives u extra potions honey whatever but ironically makes the pirated ver. of the game works as well

I got the gamecard. But when I had smash I needed a patch. But not for MH4U.
And great that it makes the pirated version work
