Is there any DNS that blocks updates but DOES NOT block YouTube? And if not, could someone please make one?

one you could never tell for sure
There's a developer proxy alive, when I come home, I'll PM it to you. Disables updates, but YouTube should work afaik.

Btw, why do you care for that? It seems pretty niche to view videos on your Wii U when you've got mobile/desktop with a much more convenient UI. ;P

Tubehax DNS blocks the youtube website and I don't have any other device (including a cell phone). lol

Oh, right. I'll PM you the dev proxy when I wake up (about 5 hours from now), it's pretty late here. Sounds good? :P

I've installed tubehax the other night, it's blocked incoming updates and the eshop function, but last night i tried the YouTube app and somehow that still works, so now I'm wondering if the tubehax hasn't worked at all

No, people have been able to use YouTube for a while now.
Google probably made it so that it's based on a direct ip or something (partially quoted by someone in a different thread). AND, if Tubehax goes down, it seems the Wii U is unable to connect to the internet at all (to see if it's down, there are constant 102-1006 errors in browser if it's down).
