Good morning community.

After the release of GX2, Iv'e decided to update from loadiine 4.0 to gx2.

I downloaded the Loadiine_gx2_d0545b3.zip file, extracted it into Wiiu->apps-loadiine_gx2

I boot up my wiiu.. 5.3.2. then boot the exploit. Race attack fails.. boot into settings, back to internet app. load the exploit, WORKS!

Then I click the gx2 nightlys link, freezes on White screen with wiiu logo bottom right....

Any ideas?

The host im using is: exploit.wiiubrew.net/

EDIT: Whoops, didn't read, make sure your path is right and it's formatted to FAT32 and you have the latest elf
Might have to do a bit of playing, you can test if the Wii U can read it by saving a screenshot in vanilla Mii Maker to the SD and see if it complains or never shows up
SD:\wiiu\apps\loadiine_gx2\loadiine_gx2.elf

GX2 = Wii U Graphic Engine
Loadiine GX2 = Loadiine hat uses the Graphics Engine GX2 for the GUI

Sorry, but it's a little bit misleading :gun::rofl:

Make sure the second time you visit the exploit, it's not trying to launch the homebrew launcher instead of loadiine.
A lot of website are hosting the HBL exploit, so you need both HBL and Loadiine's elf file on your SD card.

And some website are even hosting the "new" exploit, which don't need a second reload anymore.
on first successful exploitation of the vulnerability, it loads the corresponding homebrew (HLB or Loadiine, depends which exploit you are hosting/visiting).

Where can i find this ???? loadiine without a second reload ??????

on loadiine's official website.
the release page contains the last auto-compiled elf (nightly build), and you can just grab the exploit from the "download zip" button too.
The exploit is in the www/loadiine_gx2/ folder

it's the exploit for the "SD auto-launch" mode.
But the HBL mode has also been updated to automatically boot HBL on first successful exploit. go to HBL website to get it too.

    I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

    Some temporary storage

    also @BigOnYa im making some progress on my gdevelop project, implemented various mechanics

    They went all in on streaming, should have been more of a hybrid approach

    Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
    and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
    Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

    That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
