Ok here's the thing I have been focusing on the Ragnarok Online DS translation thread since it was started and this morning I decided to use everything they had translated and put it into my RODS rom to see what would work and what wouldn't so far everything I've tested works obviously if you've been following the RODS translation thread then you'll know its not a full translation or a major translation but its pretty darn good what these guys have done so far.

So here's my problem I would like to upload what I have done as a patch because upload a rom is a strict no no (read th rules if you didn't know) so could somebody please tell me? how to create a patch so that what I have created can be tested further by a few more people.

also if you have any links to the tools needed for creating a this translation patch then please do link me to them I will be very greatful to you

thank you in advance

Info on how to make a ips patch.

For as far as I understood you take the original untouched rom. (clear dump not trimmed)
And the reversed rom. (your hack)

The tool will compare them and write a patch file of the changes.
Which later can be used by other end users to patch the original untouched rom with. (clear dump not trimmed)

Greetz, Vistabuser.

I've tested the translation as much as I can at the moment I kinda have alot of work to do even if it is christmas *sigh* but what I've test so far it seems to work it will probably freeze at later stages but I don't have the time to test it that far.

They haven't released another patch for it yet as they want to make sure it work perfectly before unleashing their awesomeness on us all!

.........hmmm I downloaded the ipsXP from http://home.arcor.de/minako.aino/ipsXP/
but I have no idea how to create the patch...I mean obviously it has the clear options that say you can create a patch but where do I put which files? do I put my translated file as the source and the orignal as the target or the otherway round? or am I just talking nonsense? haha a little more help and I can get this uploaded

Bare in mind this patch if I can create it will only be uploaded with the permission of the RODS translation project team. although I still need to learn how to patch so any help is still appreciated
